World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is celebrated annually on December 1 by decision of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN General Assembly, adopted in 1988.
HIV infection is a slowly progressive infectious disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Breeding HIV affects cells of the immune system – CD4 + T cells. As a result of HIV propagation, the number of CD4 + T cells is gradually decreasing. HIV infection infects the protective system of the human body, and it becomes more susceptible to other infectious and tumor diseases.
