Public transport in Moscow and Moscow region will be free for women on March 8.
You don’t have to buy tickets for buses, trolleybuses, trams, metro, MCC, WDC and suburban trains. The exception is the Aeroexpress trains going to the airports. At the WDC and trains it will be necessary to issue a pass at the checkout. In the metro and the MCC, women will be allowed through the turnstiles by subway employees using a smart card.
Women and children will also be able to visit 12 state museums of the Moscow Region for free on March 8.
